Paris, Tenn.–First Christian Church, Paris is proud to announce the celebration of the 100th anniversary of its historic building. Since its construction beginning in the latter part of 1923, and dedication in April 1924, First Christian has been a cornerstone of the Paris community, providing a spiritual home and a hub for outreach and support. Over the past century, the church has witnessed countless weddings, baptisms, and memorial services, as well as serving as a gathering place for community events and initiatives. The centennial celebration will take place on Sunday, April 14th at 11 am at the church located at 101 S. Poplar St. The event will feature special services, historical exhibitions, musical performances, and a time of fellowship for all attendees. “We are thrilled to mark this significant milestone in the history of our church,” said Caren Teichmann, Senior Minister of First Christian. “Our building stands as a testament to the enduring strength of our congregation and the unwavering support of our community.
