Paris, Tennessee – One of Henry County’s most heartfelt traditions is back this season as the community comes together for the Annual Ed Roberts / Caring Hearts Cancer Survivors Dinner. The special evening, founded years ago by Barbara Roberts, is all about celebrating life, sharing stories, and reminding one another that no one fights alone.
The dinner will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Maplewood Baptist Church. Everyone who has faced cancer, no matter their age or where they received care, is invited to come, bring a guest, and enjoy a night filled with good food, fellowship, and inspiration.
What started as a small get-together inside the hospital’s Cancer Center has grown into a joyful evening that now welcomes hundreds of survivors and their families from all over West Tennessee. Whether you were diagnosed recently or years ago, this night is meant for you.
At the heart of it all is the Caring Hearts Fund, a program of the Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation that helps local cancer patients with things like co-pays, medications, premiums, and travel costs. Every dollar raised stays right here in our community, helping neighbors when they need it most.
