Step back in time and experience the warmth of a 19th-century Christmas by a campfire as part of the “Let it Glow” walk-thru on Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13. Led by J.C. Stahlman and a group of dedicated living historians, this unique holiday event brings the spirit of the past to life with authentic demonstrations, a crackling campfire and traditional holiday cheer.

Guests can stroll through the Settlement area during “Let It Glow” to see the reenactors’ camp, enjoy the sights and sounds of the season and sample a cup of warm Wassail—a classic holiday drink made with fruit juices and spices. You may even be able to help them decorate their Christmas tree. It’s a cozy, candlelit experience that captures the simple joys of Christmas from another era.
