Big Sandy, Tenn.–The Annual Homecoming for the Mt. Zion Church in the “Old 23rd District” will be held Sunday, July 3.

Hours are from 11 to noon. There will be old-time singing, preaching and a brief business report.

Bring food for the potluck lunch under the trees.

The church building and pews at the church were built in 1897. It’s the only building still standing in the Old 23rd District. In addition to the church, the cemetery is on the grounds. To many these grounds are sacred.
