Paris, Tenn.—With the help of Paris Sgt. Jamie James’ K9 Drago, two Big Sandy men were arrested in possession of 10 bags of meth along with several items of drug paraphernalia Sunday night.
Arrested were Brandon Cherry, age 29, of 108 Water St., and Stacey Bratschi, age 26, of 266 Cooper Cemetery Rd. Cherry was charged with possession of meth with intent to sell and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bratschi was charged with possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
They were arrested by James and Patrolman Justin Harden, who were on patrol on Memorial Drive when they noticed the pair driving a vehicle with only one working headlight.
According to the report, the truck began speeding away and was found in a driveway on Lone Oak Rd. with its headlights off.
After receiving permission to search the vehicle, Drago alerted to drugs inside the driver’s side door. Found in the vehicle was 10 bags of meth, weighing 16.3 grams, a syringe, scales, glass pipes and baggies.
Cherry’s bond was set at $10,000 and Bratschi’s at $1,000.
