18-Year-Old Buchanan Youth Killed In Accident

Paris, Tenn.—An 18-year-old from Buchanan was killed early this morning in a two-car accident which also injured six people.
Killed in the accident was Phillip Frazee, age 18, of Buchanan. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Jarod Ashby, age 18. The accident occurred around 1 a.m.
The accident occurred on State Hwy. 140 near Old Paris-Murray Rd.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a car driven by Alyssa Carter, age 19, was southbound on 140 and a vehicle driven by Ashby  was traveling on Old Paris-Murray Rd. when Ashby entered onto the highway. Carter’s vehicle impacted Ashby’s vehicle on its front right side.
Injured in the crash were Carter and her passengers Stacey Guerrero, age 40; Chloe Oshea, age 11.
Injured from Ashby’s car was Patrick Teague, age 22; and Kevin Lizon, age 23.
The patrol report does not indicate the extent of injuries.
