Murray, Ky.–The Downtown Murray Farmers Market will open Saturday, May 23. The market is located on the downtown court square and is open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.
There will be several rules for the market to meet Kentucky’s social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines: Please wear masks when coming to the market, follow directional signs and stay 6 feet apart at all times.
There will be two hand-washing stations and six hand sanitizer stations throughout the market and patrons are asked to use them frequently. Patrons are also asked to let the vendors handle the goods. “You touch it, you buy it”, organizers said. “We appreciate you following our safety guidelines so that we may stay open during these times.”
