Paris, Tenn.—Investigation into yesterday’s shooting at a home on Hwy. 69N is still under investigation by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
In a press release issued this morning, Sheriff’s Captain Adam Jenkins said deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 1525 Hwy. 69N.
When officers arrived, they found Allan Andrews, age 40, with a gunshot wound to the ankle.
Jenkins said Andrews was transported to the Henry County Medical Center emergency room, where he was treated and released.
Andrews told investigators he was outside when three unknown men approached him and an exchange of gunshots occurred. “He said he believes the men are from Nashville and are not local, due to a previous issue he had in Nashville.”
