Paris, Tenn.–Paris Special Schools District (PSSD) announces meal services for the week of March 23 – 27, 2020.
Rhea will be open on Monday and Wednesday of next week for meal pick-up. Students will get two breakfast meals and two lunch meals on Monday, March 23 between 11:00 – 12:30. On Wednesday, March 25, students may pick up three breakfast meals and three lunch meals.
Buses will be running between 10:30 – 11:45 on Monday and Wednesday to deliver meals. On Monday, students will get two breakfast meals and two lunch meals. On Wednesday, students will get three breakfast meals and three lunch meals.
Director of Schools Dr. Norma Gerrell said, “We are so thankful for the dedication of our foodservice workers, transportation staff, faculty, staff, and volunteers who served 2,513 meals this week. ”
Groups of volunteers have been helping in the meal deliveries every day. On Friday, March 20, city of Paris employees volunteered.
