Mayfield, Ky.–Six people were arrested on drug charges including meth possession at two different motels in Mayfield.
On Friday, February 28,at approximately 10:45 pm, deputies from the Graves County Sheriff’s Office attempted a warrant service on 45 year old Brad Bristoe at a local Mayfield motel.
Bruce Fowler, age 33, and Jamey Phillips, age 47, were located in the room where Bristoe had been staying. While speaking with these two individuals, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the room. Both Phillips and Fowler were arrested on drug charges.
Bristoe was not located but during the investigation, deputies gained information that Mr. Bristoe was staying at another motel in Mayfield.
Deputies responded to that location and located Destiny Ballard, 21. Ballard was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located on her person and she was additional charged with those offenses.
Deputies located and arrested Bristoe at the second location as well as Russell Workman, age 52, and Tommi Moon, age 40, who were located inside the room with Bristoe. Deputies again located more methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The following were charged and lodged at the Graves County Jail. The Kentucky State Police assisted in the arrests.
1. Russell Workman of Franklin, KY: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container and Failure to Notify DOT of an Address Change.
2. Bruce Jared Fowler of Georgia: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
3. Jamey Scott Phillips of Oklahoma: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
4. Tommi Jene Moon of Mayfield: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
5. Destiny Ballard of Mayfield: Warrant of Arrest for a Probation Violation, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
6. Brad Bristoe of Mayfield: Warrant of Arrest for Probation Violation and Contempt of Court and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
