MCKENZIE, Tenn. –The Bethel University Athletic Department extends their deepest sympathies to the family of Bobby Chilcutt. Bobby passed away suddenly Friday night.
Bobby worked for Anchor Transportation who provides bus service for the coaches, staff and student-athletes at the school.
Bethel’s Director of Athletic Media Relations Dave McCulley said, “Bobby was a super person who safely drove hundreds of student-athletes and coaches to their destinations through the years. I first met him when was at Lambuth and always admired his demeanor and the respect he had for others. He had a servant’s heart and you always felt safe and secure when he was one of your drivers. He went out of his way to accommodate all of us on each trip. He will be missed and on the behalf of all in our department we send our condolences and prayers to his family.”
