Murray, Ky.–The Office of Multicultural Initiatives, Student Leadership and Inclusive Excellence is hosting events in celebration of the life of Martin Luther King Jr.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21, the Campus and Community Breakfast will occur at 8:30 a.m. in the Curris Center Banquet Room. The breakfast is co-sponsored by the City of Murray Human Rights Commission, Murray State University President’s Office, Office of the Provost and the Division of Student affairs, and co-hosted by the Emerging Scholars Institute and Black Student Council.
After breakfast, members will participate in sorting, packing and delivering items for United Way agencies and other regional nonprofit organizations. Donated items can be brought to the Curris Center Banquet Room from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Jan. 21.
