Dresden, Tenn.—A Palmersville woman was reportedly caught bringing meth and marijuana into the Weakley Co. Jail in a unique manner Wednesday.
Bobbie Lynn Trout, age 23, of Palmersville, has been charged with felony introduction of contraband into a penal facility.
According to Weakley Co. Sheriff’s Captain Randall McGowan, Trout was inside the jail Wednesday after being arrested at the courthouse the day before on charges of aggravated child abuse after children in her custody tested positive for meth.
McGowan said she had been asleep for about 24 hours when Corrections Officers observed her take something from her bra and put it in her pants.
As part of the procedure for dressing to be put in jail, all inmates are required to ‘squat and cough’. McGowan said, “When Trout did so, several plastic baggies that contained both meth and marijuana fell out of her body.”
