Henry County Does Swimmingly At Swim Meet

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County High School Swim Team competed in it final regular season meet on Tuesday in Brentwood, hosted by Independence High School. Both boy and girls teams finish 4th in the division of 11 teams.
Top point earner for the girls team was Emma Hill with eight points who had two second place finishes on the day in the 50yd Freestyle and the 100yd Backstroke.
Hunter Lawrence was the top point earner for the boys team with seven. He had a first place finish in the 200 Individual Medley and 5th place in the 50 Freestyle. Other points came from Shelby Summers in the 50 yd Freestyle and 100 yd Breaststroke, Amelia Hart in the 100 yd Freestyle and the girls 200 yd Freestyle Relay of Emma Hill, Shelby Summers, Amelia Hart and Sophie Harrison.Other points scoring for the boys team were Cole Davis in the 50 Freestyle, Caleb Cain in the 200 Freestyle and the 100 butterfly the boys scores points on 2 relays the 200 Freestyle relay of Peyton King, Caleb Cain, Hunter Lawrence and Cole Davis and the 400 Freestyle relay with David Richardson, Hunter Miller, Caleb Cain and Hunter Lawrence.
The next swim meet for HCHS will be regionals for Middle Tennessee. They hope to have some more swimmers join Emma Hill and Hunter Lawrence who have meet the qualifying times to be able to compete.
