Paris, Tenn.–Are you ready for some football?
The Battle for the Barrel is back, with an Alumni Battle for the Barrel being organized right now for Henry County and Dickson County alumni.
Henry County already has 45 registered to play and Dickson County has eight. Henry County Head Football Coach James Counce told WENK/WTPR the game will be played in Henry County, either at Patriot Stadium or Barton Field on April 25. “We’re trying to get the word out about it now,” Counce said.
Alumni Football USA is bringing hard-hitting alumni football to Henry County and they are currently working on forming the teams. Any alumni from either school is eligible to play. If you have longed to get back on the field, now is your chance. And if you are looking to lace them up for the first time, you are welcome too.

Cost to play is $100 per player and is due at the team meeting. The team meeting will be called in January once we have enough registered on each team.
