Union City, Tenn.—Union City Turf Management is reminding the public that major construction is ongoing at Graham Park and no one is allowed in the park without permission.
The Union City Middle School softball team is the only team that has permission to use the field at this time.
Closure of the park is a safety precaution in a construction zone and for the protection of the heavy equipment being used. “We regret we have to close the park, but for the sake of improvements in the facility it is necessary,” officials said.
Eddelmon-Hawks concession stand is presently being demolished as part of Phase one of the park renovation.
