Obion, Tenn.—Reelfoot Rural Ministries in Obion is getting ready for its 2019 Christmas Toy Store and is seeking donations of toys, money and volunteer time to ensure its success. This year’s goal is to help 650 families. The dates for the Toy Store are December 9-12.
Reelfoot Executive Director Robert Craig said, “Last year was another successful Toy Store and we trust that this year will be no different. Reelfoot Rural Ministries assisted 540 families with Christmas gifts for their children through the 2018 Toy Store. In all, 1300 children had a brighter and more joyful Christmas last year, thanks in large part to our donors and volunteers.”
Donations are greatly needed in the form of toys and monetary gifts. Individuals, groups and churches can collect toys and bring them to Reelfoot Rural Ministries.
The office is open to receive donations Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Craig said Saturday, December 7th is the final set up day for the Toy Store. That is also the day
designated as the deadline for toy donations. They can receive donations until noon on that day.
