Dover, Tenn.–One person has been airlifted after a boat explosion and fire at Leatherwood Resort and Marina in Stewart County and four houseboats have sunk.
TWRA officials said the fire is now out, but they are still warning everyone that there is a lot of debris in the water and to please stay clear of the area.
The TWRA said the marina caught fire after a boat explosion Sunday morning and crews from several emergency agencies were on the scene.
The injured person was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. TWRA officials said the explosion caused four houseboats at the marina to sink.
