Mayfield, Ky.–Air Evac has deployed aircraft and two full crews to Florida in anticipation of Hurricane Dorian. The crews are on their way to the Forward Operating Base in Sarasota, Fla.
Crews are from Mayfield and Crittenden County in Kentucky; from Lancaster, Ohio; and Snellville and Tifton (Tift County), Ga.
They will be on a seven-day deployment.
In addition, Air Evac is sending 23 people to provide support for ground, air and NATCOM operations. These folks are headed to Sarasota, Dallas, Stone Mountain, Ga., and Columbia, SC.
