Fentanyl Arrest Follows Possible Marshall County Overdose

Marshall County, Ky.—A possible overdose has led to another fentanyl arrest in Marshall County.
Nathaniel Erickson was arrested on charges of aggravated trafficking in controlled substance more than 10 grams of fentanyl derivatives, possession marijuana, two counts of possession of anabolic steroids and two counts possession of a legend drug.
Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a local business Wednesday morning on a report of a possible drug overdose. According to the press release, symptoms of the victim appeared similar to the victims in the Kentucky Dam Marina incident from Sunday (see separate story).
At the hospital, it was determined the victim had taken Xanax pills.
Deputies were assisted in the continued investigation by the Graves Co. Sheriff’s Office and the DEA in Paducah.
