McKenzie, Tenn.–No one was injured in an early-morning car fire in McKenzie which destroyed the vehicle. McKenzie Fire & Rescue Safety Officer John Nelson told WENK/WTPR that the occupants were already out of the car and the fire was already heavily involved when the first police units arrived at the scene. Fire & Rescue was paged out at 1:41 a.m. to 19190 Hwy. 22 near Carroll Memorial Garden. Fire & Rescue Officer in charge was Capt. T. Marr. (McKenzie Fire & Rescue photo).
