Houston County, Tenn.—Two Clarksville men pled guilty to charges filed by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Officers after the men trespassed on property in Houston County and illegal possession of fish. They received stiff penalties at a recent hearing in Houston County General Sessions Court.
Mark Steven Jones and Robert Earl Wilridge pled guilty to two counts of over the possession limit of black bass and one count of illegal possession of wildlife.
Judge Sidney Vinson ordered the men to each pay $1,065 in fines and costs, suspended 12 months of jail to supervised probation and revoked their hunting, fishing, and trapping privileges for five years.
The pair were caught trespassing by a landowner after fishing on Yellow Creek.
