Fulton, Ky.—A Fulton County jury today found a Tiptonville man guilty of murder of a Hickman man during an altercation in a field last October and recommended a 20-year sentence be imposed.
William “Terry” Jamison, age 60, was found guilty in the murder of Mark Williams, age 49, during the altercation in Hickman. The argument reportedly was over a land dispute. Williams was pronounced dead upon arrival at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
Williams’ trial began August 14 in Fulton County Circuit Court.
Jamison will be formally sentenced by Judge Timothy Langford September 8.
