Are You Ready For The Obion County Fair?

Union City, Tenn.–The Obion County Fair is set to begin Monday, August 19 and will be chock full of a wide range of activities, from Championship Wrestling to a high wire act, Monster Trucks, the Fairshow Musical, $1,000 cash drawings each night, lots of music, the carnival, the Show-Me-Safari, the Fairest of the Fair and other pageants and plenty more.
Pre-Fair activities kicked off Saturday with a large crowd on hand for the 5K run and walk, garden tractor pull and the annual Tyson Community Feed. Visitors were given a sneak peek of all that the Fair will offer as they strolled the fairgrounds.
This year’s Fair has the theme, “Oohs, Aahs, Moos and Baas” and will run from August 19-24.
Monday’s Schedule:
9 a.m. Entries accepted
5-10 p.m. Commercial Exhibits open
5-10 p.m. Adult.Youth Exhibits open
5-10 p.m. Predator Monster Truck Rides
5-10 p.m. Show-Me-Safari
High Flying Pages Thrill Act, Swine Racing and Wade Henry Show happening throughout the evening
6 p.m. Grand Opening ceremonies
6 p.m. Carnival Opens
6 p.m. Poultry Show and Auction
6 p.m. Duck Calling Contest
7 p.m. AC43 Concert
7 p.m. Junior Miss Fairest of Fair
8 p.m. Teen Fairest of Fair
9 p.m. Fairest of the Fair
10 p.m. $1,000 Nightly drawing
