Trenton, Tenn.—At Thursday’s ribbon-cutting at the new Trenton helipad, brothers Bob and Ken Wilson presented checks to Mayor Ricky Jackson which will provide every resident in Trenton with a basic, one-year subscription to Air Evac services.
The Wilson brothers are local entrepreneurs who have been working on revitalizing Trenton. They said they made the donation of the Air Evac subscriptions in honor of the local workers and businesses that worked to build the helipad.
The helipad was officially opened today at the Gibson County Medical Center on the corner of the Hwy. 45 bypass and Halliburton St. An Air Evac helicopter made an honorary first landing at the helipad as part of the opening ceremonies.
The helipad will provide a convenient and safe place for emergency helicopters to land and transport ill and injured people to area hospitals.
