Stolen Vehicle Recovered In Cornfield

Buchanan, Tenn.- Police recovered a stolen truck early on Friday morning  after the truck was reported stolen from a Clayton Town Road home late on Thursday evening.
According to a report from Henry County Sheriff’s Cpl. Stacey Bostwick, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from the owner of the vehicle who said when she came home at around 8 p.m. Thursday she found that her gold Ford Ranger truck had been stolen. The owner told police that a man she knew might have taken the vehicle.
Later that night, the Tennessee Highway Patrol notified the Sheriff’s Office that they saw a Ford Ranger that matched the stolen vehicle’s description turn onto Carl Chandler Road. Bostwick and troopers from the THP did locate the stolen truck abandoned in a corn field. A person of interest was named in the report, but no arrests have been made.
