DAYTON, Tenn. – Bethel’s KJ Queen and partner Dax Ewart were crowned the Best of the Best at the 2019 Bassmasters College National Championship today.
The Bass Cats duo was named Bassmasters 2019 Team of the Year in front of a huge crowd at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, during the registration meeting for the Bassmasters College National Championship that is ongoing this weekend..
KJ Queen is a 2019 graduate and Dax will be a junior at Bethel this upcoming fall semester.
Queen was named the Bethel University Clubs Sports Male Athlete of the Year at the school this past spring.
“What a huge accomplishment by two of our guys,” Coach Garry Mason of Springville said . “These two young men have excelled in all four of the Bassmasters Regional Championships and beat out the very best in the college fishing world to achieve this great award.”
The Bethel Bass Team is in Dayton with 16 anglers fishing the prestigious Bassmasters College National Championship.
