Learning The History Of Historic Preservation

Paris, Tenn.–Jane Coleman-Cottone, Historic Preservation Specialist for the Tennessee Historic Commission, spoke to an audience of history lovers at Friday’s Lunch & Learn event at the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center. She shared the history of historic preservation, explaining that it started with ladies societies preserving landmarks and has evolved into grassroots organizations protecting whole neighborhoods.
