Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man died at the Henry Co. Medical Center after being found unresponsive near a local roadway.
Henry County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 5:41 a.m. this morning and found an unresponsive man near the roadway on Eli Brown Rd.
Deputy Gary Carroll assisted EMS in administering CPR to the man until EMS transported him to the hospital.
According to Captain Adam Jenkins, once at the hospital, the man, who was identified as Russell Newman, age 52, of 2244 Old State Route 76, died from what is believed to be natural causes. “There were no signs of foul play and nothing to indicate (he) had suffered from any exterior trauma”.
