Union City, Tenn.–A Union City man is being held on $100,000 bond in the Obion Co. Jail on charges of aggravated child abuse and neglect involving a two-month-old child.
James Guy II, age 22, of 1331 Hillsboro, was arrested by Union City Police after they were notified June 24 that a two-month-old baby was being treated for rib and leg fractures in LeBonheur Hospital in Memphis.
According to a press release from the police department, the injuries were believed to have been sustained by the child in Union City. Investigation led them to the father of the child, James Guy II. He is charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect of a child under the age of six.
