2019 Henry County Fair Book Dedicated To Jeremy Lindsey

Paris, Tenn.–The 2019 Henry County Fair Book is being dedicated to a man who fair officials say always goes the extra mile: Lakeway IGA Manager Jeremy Lindsey.
Fair officials presented Lindsey with the dedication Tuesday night and said, “He is a wonderful boss in fact his employees feel more like family. He has donated to numerous fundraisers, tailgates, sports teams, schools. Here are just a few: Henry County Fishing team, Henry County Soccer, Henry County Youth Baseball Association, Henry County High School tailgates, Lakewood school and Lakewood PTO, sponsored World’s Biggest Fish Fry floats, Henry County Fair, and Helping Hand just to name a few.”
The 2019 Henry Co. Fair will be held August 3-10 and the fair books will be available to the public in a couple of weeks.
Lindsey began his work career with Parker Farms, then became a stocker at Jim Adams IGA, next working at E W James IGA, working his way up to night manager.  He worked at the Tennessean Golf Course before becoming the Assistant Manager at the Paris Save-A-Lot and then was the Save- A-Lot Manager in Mayfield.
In May 2005 he opened Lakeway IGA, a locally owned and operated grocery store with deep roots in Henry County. The Paris Henry County Chamber of Commerce named Lakeway IGA the 2018 Business of the year.
He also serves on the board of Real Hope Youth Center and is a former board member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Henry County Youth Baseball Association.
Jeremy was born December 1, 1976, grew up in Paris and Henry County, graduating from Henry County High School in 1995.   On September 6, 2003 he married Kristan Phillips.  They have two children, Gavin and Ryne.  He is the son of Brenda and Don Parker and Gary and Diane Lindsey.
When Jeremy has free time he spends it with his family at the lake or camping at Piney.  Jeremy is a long time Chicago Cubs fan.
