Union City, Tenn.—A Union City man who had been wanted on multiple charges is lodged in the Obion County Jail after an early-morning two-county pursuit.
Bryan Ray Culver, age 28, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. when the pursuit came to an end in Union City, according to Obion County Jail officials. He was booked into the jail around 3:50 a.m. after being treated at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
The pursuit began in Dyer County, continuing into Obion County and into Union City where he reportedly jumped a curb, blew out tires on his car and ran off on foot at which point he was tasered by officers.
Culver has been wanted on warrants including reckless endangerment, theft, vandalism, failure to appear and driving on a suspended license.
The Obion Co. Sheriff’s Office issued a warning to the public June 19, noting he was also a person of interest in multiple investigations in West Tennessee. The sheriff’s office post also said Culver has made violent threats towards Law Enforcement and is considered very dangerous.
