Marshall County, Ky.–The Paducah National Weather Service survey team has determined that two EF-1 tornadoes hit southwest Kentucky on Sunday.
The damage survey team announced today that they found preliminary EF-1 tornado damage at Moors Marina along Kentucky Lake in Marshall Co., as well another that EF-1 that traveled across Carlisle, Ballard, and McCracken Counties in Kentucky.
More information to follow from the Paducah team as its surveying continues Monday afternoon.
As we reported, Moor’s Resort and their harbor took a direct hit but luckily the damage was contained to A and B dock, with no other damage across the resort. However, the damage to those two docks was substantial, with boats piled on top of each other and dock framework twisted and destroyed.
Moor’s owners said all lodging, campground and the bar and grill are still open.
