Long-Time Library Director Connie McSwain Dies; Funeral Arrangements Incomplete

 
 
Paris, Tenn.–Long-time W.G. Rhea Public Library Director Connie McSwain died Monday morning in Illinois. McSwain had retired in August of 2018 after being the library director for 19 years.
McSwain was in Illinois for a horse show when she died. Funeral arrangements at Ridgeway Funeral Home are incomplete Monday afternoon and will be announced.
Upon her retirement, McSwain was honored with the Loyal Patriot Award and the Marquis de Paris Award, the highest honors that can be bestowed from Henry County and the city of Paris. She also was a long-time member of the Henry County Commission.
