Work Day At Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Community Park

Paris, Tenn.–A small army of dedicated worker bees gathered at the Atkins-Porter Community Park for a work session Saturday morning. The group was laying bricks through the garden in areas where park benches will be placed and for a grilling area. The group also chipped mortar from the large number of donated bricks for the project. A pavilion already has been erected in the park, bricked walkways have been installed and trees have been planted. The community park is located at 311 Jackson Street.
