Area Farmers Markets Are Thriving With Wide Variety Of Produce, Baked Goods & More

All of the Farmers Markets in our local area are up and running and all have been extremely busy with customers hungry for fresh produce and fruit. All the markets have been expanding their offerings, with homemade baked goods, honey, jams and jellies, granola, crafts and other items.
Henry County
In Henry County, Harmony Farms has been added to its vendors with ground beef, roasts, organic duck and chicken eggs and Whiskey Ridge Farm has its peaches, plums and strawberry kiwi ready.
The Henry Co. Farmers Market meets twice a week, from 3-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the Henry County Fairgrounds.
Obion County
The Obion County Farmers and Artisans Market has a large offering of produce, fruit, meat, seafood, coffee and goodies for the whole family to enjoy. Fresh veggies, greens, homemade sauces, goat milk soap, handmade toys, beautiful embroidered towels, and farm fresh eggs.
It meets 3-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at its new location next to Discovery Park of America at Houser Creek Crossing, 810 Bream Blvd. in Union City.
Dresden
The Dresden Farmers Market meets in its permanent pavilion at 421 Linden St. in downtown Dresden, on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
McKenzie
McKenzie also has an indoor and outdoor permanent space for its market downtown. It opens from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
Murray
Murray also has a large number of vendors who meet downtown from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
