Greenfield, Tenn.—An Obion County man is facing a long list of charges after ramming a Greenfield Police car during a traffic stop.
Arrested was Taja Lamont Allen, age 21, of the Mason Hall community. He is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, vandalism, driving without a driver’s license, no registration and no insurance.
According to the police report, Greenfield police tried to stop Allen for expired tags but Allen sped away, running stop signs, striking a guy wire and tree before driving through a yard and hitting Lt. Danny Smith’s patrol car.
