Union City, Tenn.–Three Union City Elementary School fourth-graders received the prestigious 2019 Presidential Award.
Students (from left) Andrew Byars Beard, Stevee Kourtlynn Dugger and Foster Fahl Rogers were all recognized at the UCES Awards Day.
The criteria for the award is rigorous, and includes a 90-or-above average for math and ELA and 80-or-above on the end-of-year test for math and ELA.
Each of the students will receive a certificate signed by President Donald Trump.
