Buchanan, Tenn.–Good news for everyone: the Nina and Pinta replicas will be at port at Paris Landing State Park for an even longer period of time than previously announced.
The Columbus Ships will be arriving earlier than expected–they will be at Paris Landing around 1 p.m. today–and will be staying for an extended period, through Wednesday, May 29.
The captain of the ships posted on Facebook Tuesday evening that they finally got off the Tombigbee River and are heading down the Tennessee River enroute to Paris Landing.
Officials at Paris Landing told WENK/WTPR that ships will be docked in the marina area and entrance to the ships will be through the marina.
While in port, the general public is invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour. Admission charges are $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $6.50 for students 5 – 16. Children 4 and under are Free. The ships are open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No reservations necessary.
