Buchanan, Tenn.–The planned appearance by the Nina and Pinta replicas at Paris Landing State Park–already delayed twice–has been cancelled altogether.
A spokesperson for the captain of the ships told WENK/WTPR that the ships are still delayed at the Aberdeen Locks and Dams at Columbus, Mississippi, due to dredging. Flooding throughout the Midwest have made docking unavailable and sections of waterways closed for dredging.
A decision has been made by the captain to cancel their stop at Paris Landing and will not be rescheduling.
