Greenfield, Tenn.-A Mayfield couple were arrested by Greenfield Police, charged with going to different churches on Easter Sunday and allegedly asking for money with fake stories.
Randy Cole Riley, age 49, and Dawn Lashell Riley, age 41, were charged with theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to Greenfield Police, the couple, along with their 11-year-old son, went from church to church on Easter Sunday asking for money. Randy Riley received $110 from Greenfield First Presbyterian after telling them he had to take his sick wife to Jackson. Dawn Riley went to Greenfield Methodist and asked for gas money to get to Jackson and the juvenile asked for money to get food from the Greenfield Church of Christ.
