Union City, Tenn.—A Union City man was injured following a two-vehicle accident in the Lowe’s parking lot in Union City Thursday afternoon.
According to the police report, Gerald McCallon, age 77, Union City, was driving through the parking lot, cutting across parking spaces. Meanwhile, Timothy Sims, age 55, was riding his Harley Davidson down one of the aisles.
McCallon reportedly pulled into the path of the motorcycle, causing Sims to fall of the Harley. Sims was transported to the local hospital from the scene by ambulance. His condition report was not available.
Both vehicles were also damaged.
