Man's Behavior Lands Him In Jail

Martin, Tenn.—A Martin man was arrested after being found running in front of cars and beating on peoples’ doors Wednesday afternoon.
Weakley County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an area south of Martin on Hwy. 45 in response to several 911 calls about a man running in front of cars. Deputies found the man in the 7000 block of Hwy. 45 wearing no shirt or shoes.
A person who lives in the area told deputies the man had been at their house beating on the door yelling for help. The man, Caleb Frederick Henry, age 18, admitted to deputies he had smoked marijuana and believed it had been laced with some other drug.
Captain Randall McGowan said because deputies believed he was a danger to himself and others, he was arrested for public intoxication.
He was booked into the Weakley Co. Correctional Facility and was released on a $500 bond about eight hours later.
