Union City, Tenn.—A Union City driver was charged with DUI third offense following a two-car accident in Union City Saturday afternoon that injured a 16-year-old passenger in the other vehicle.
Robert Reavis, age 32, of 993 S. 5th St., was charged with DUI third, lack of financial responsibility and following too close following the accident which occurred on West Reelfoot Ave.
Christopher Webb, age 18, of Martin, was driving his pickup westbound in the 200 block of W. Reelfoot when he was struck from behind by Reavis as Webb slowed to turn right. Webb’s passenger was taken to the emergency room at Baptist Memorial for treatment.
