Blake Kennedy Named State Star In Agribusiness At State FFA Convention

Gatlinburg, Tenn.—Blake Kennedy of the Paris FFA has been named the State Star in Agribusiness at the 91st Tennessee FFA State Convention that is ongoing in Gatlinburg this week.
Kennedy is the son of Chad and Stephanie Kennedy of Puryear and has been an integral part of operating Kennedy Farms for some time. He is a senior at Henry County High School and plans to attend Murray State University, majoring in agribusiness.
Kennedy also won proficiency in vegetable products.
Chad Kennedy told WENK/WTPR Wednesday morning, “We’re really proud of him. Actually, he’s the one who runs Kennedy Farms and I just help him!”
As we reported earlier this week, Tanner Nichols of Obion County Central High School was named State Star in Agricultural Placement.
