Troy, Tenn.–Thanks to a caller who noticed a suspicious vehicle, Obion County Sheriff’s Deputies and Troy Police found three suspects with stolen vehicles in their truck.
On March 14, deputies of the Obion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on R Calloway Rd., near the Troy city limits, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies and Troy Police officers encountered three individuals in a pickup truck with an Arkansas license plate and two dirt bikes in the bed of the truck. Upon investigation, it was discovered the dirt bikes had just been stolen from a nearby residence.
The suspects, Ricky Dewayne Smith 40, of Obion, Daniel Andrew Hallmark 20, of Dyersburg, and Martin Alexander Plunkett 21, of Dresden, were all charged with theft over $2,500.00 a class D Felony.
