City Of Paris Honors Paris Quota On Anniversary

Paris, Tenn.–There was a birthday party for the Quota International Club in Paris Wednesday, with Paris City Mayor Carlton Gerrell and Vice Mayor Jackie Jones reading proclamations honoring the international club’s 100th birthday and the Paris club’s 59th anniversary.
It was also a time to wish a very happy birthday to the Paris Quota’s longest-serving member, Bethel Williams, whose 101st birthday was earlier this month. She has been a member for 55 years.
Comments on the history of the club were presented by Beverly Wood, who has been a member of the Paris club for 40 years, and Williams.
Williams told everyone: “Work hard, but don’t forget to have fun”.
President Kayla Nation also announced that Mary Catherine Moore was the unanimous choice for Volunteer of the Year.
