Paris and Camden, Tenn.–The Hibbett’s stores in Paris and Camden were robbed Monday night and law enforcement are looking for three and possibly four suspects in the robberies.
Paris Police Investigator Jeramye Whitaker said the same suspect also attempted to rob the Hibbett’s store in Lexington last night, but apparently were foiled in their effort.
Whitaker said police are looking for two black females and one black male, with a fourth suspect possibly driving the get away car, which was described as a red Ford Focus. Whitaker said the car appeared to have temporary plates.
Whitaker told WENK/WTPR that the employee at the Paris Hibbett’s store received a call saying there had been a robbery at the Camden store and about 30 minutes later, the same suspects walked into the Paris store. In both cases, an employee was roughed up during the robberies.
Whitaker said anyone with information is asked to call him at 731 641 4011 or the Paris PD at 642 2424.
The Hibbett’s store is located in the Wal-Mart shopping center on Mineral Wells Ave.
