2019 4-H Public Speaking Contest Winners Announced

Paris, Tenn.–After a vigorous round of speeches, winners, alternates and finalists were picked for the 2019 4-H Public Speaking Contest. The contest was held Monday night at Inman School.
Henry County 4-H Agent Staci Foy released the names of the winners today:
4th Grade
Winner: Reed Jackson, PES
Alternate: Owen Wade, PES
Finalists: Ellie Hamlin, Lakewood; Sadie Thompson, PES, Eden Bruce, Lakewood; Ava Hastings, Lakewood.
5th Grade
Winner: Hope Tusa, PES
Alternate: Sloane Russell, PES
Finalists: Carrigan Tucker, Lakewood; Levi Peale, PES; Ali Ridgeway, PES; Finley Homesley, PES.
6th Grade
Winner: Anne Claire Collins, Inman
Alternate: Anna Grace Parker, Harrelson
7th Grade
Winner: Abbie Hudgins, Harrelson
Alternate: Brevin Hutson, Lakewood
8th Grade
Winner: Katie Bullion, Lakewood
Alternate: Alexander Owen, Henry
