Cottage Grove, Tenn.—At Tuesday night’s meeting of the Cottage Grove Legislative Council, Matthew McClure was sworn in as Vice Mayor and the council approved the county’s hazard mitigation plan.
Councilman John Weiher presented an update on the city’s emergency siren. He said siren parts have been delivered to Interrail and will be delivered to Cottage Grove with the installment crew the week of January 21.
The Helping Hand day for the Cottage Grove community is January 15, with drop off times between 7 and 8:15 a.m. that morning at the Cottage Grove Fellowship Hall.
